In the 17th minute, Cruz Credo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Facundo Altamirano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Ranolfo in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Credo came free, but Yao Guang Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yaji FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nemanja Vidić was slow to take the kick. During this time Maravilla's players had a chance to rest. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Guang Chao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Maravilla's Cruz Credo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yao Guang Chao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Yao Guang Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Credo in the 35th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Suarez. Facundo Altamirano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Feliu in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mouzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cruz Credo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Guang Chao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Cruz Credo scored 4-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yao Guang Chao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Yao Guang Chao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cruz Credo went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Facundo Altamirano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Yaji FC made a substitution. Justino Lehoi replaced Giovani Mattos. Yaji FC's Hector Herauso was substituted for Maximiliano Feliu. Yaji FC's Kryspin Ziemba was substituted for Man Chester. Orlando Lixandro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Maravilla from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Abelardo Rosio got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Yao Guang Chao. Yaji FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 90 minutes into the game, Orlando Lixandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
