Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Foster Brennan got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Man Chester came free, but Grigore Dijmărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Man Chester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grigore Dijmărescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Marcones in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yaji FC's Generoso Lucado. Grigore Dijmărescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao got control of the ball when Foster Brennan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Arturo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Ranolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bernat in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Claudio Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goalkeeper Grigore Dijmărescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the game, Cipriano Asteri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaji FC the free kick. When Abelardo Rosio fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Abelardo Rosio a yellow card for diving instead. Abelardo Rosio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cipriano Asteri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. During the 46th minute of the match Cipriano Asteri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cipriano Asteri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cipriano Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes Arturo Ranolfo shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu to catch but Arturo Ranolfo was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Man Chester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Lorenz. Ladislao Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ from getting a goal against them. Yao Guang Chao came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Alexandru Stolojan. But to his dismay, Alexandru Stolojan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Yao Guang Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ricardo Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute Alexandru Stolojan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Guang Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Ranolfo came free, but Grigore Dijmărescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaji FC's goalkeeper Yao Guang Chao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yao Guang Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arturo Ranolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Ziemba in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Franz Beckenbauer hit a great ball. In the 93rd match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Rosio to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Franz Beckenbauer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arturo Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Dijmărescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigore Dijmărescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryspin Ziemba had several of the ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 98 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Grigore Dijmărescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yaji FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
