Penko Lambovski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Grigore Dijmărescu. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ booed when DonLoli fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Ceandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lino Argenis fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DonLoli fc's protests and gave Lino Argenis a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of DonLoli fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ:s goal. After a rather tough play, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Joel Marcones got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Alexandru Stolojan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Rameriz was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Ricardo Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Meder. The DonLoli fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Rameriz should have stopped the shot. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
