Alex Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Sten Vallman put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Axelsson. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Pádua in the 24th minute of the match. FRaSCu FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after ATILA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Mendebal took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ATILA's goalie and right to Rodolfo Beltza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ATILA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sten Vallman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Alex Axelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ATILA's Sten Vallman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The ATILA fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when ATILA's Sten Vallman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
