In the 5thth minute of the game Ruperto Qwinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Joel Marcones fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's protests and gave Joel Marcones a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ got a freekick which was hit by Joel Marcones. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Jucha in the 12th minute of play forced ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goalkeeper Grigore Dijmărescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Ciudad Alta F.C.'s corner Ramon Lesardo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Grigore Dijmărescu quite easily take care of the ball. Amadeo Senen made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Alexandru Stolojan. Amado Hustaz took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Dijmărescu. Grigore Dijmărescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandru Stolojan got free with Javi Putov in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ defense, Ziemowit Jucha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Dijmărescu. The ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Dijmărescu should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes, Ricardo Bernat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ and the Ciudad Alta F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Grigore Dijmărescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Jucha in the 32nd minute of play. Ruperto Qwinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Dijmărescu having to interfere. Grigore Dijmărescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Qwinton in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Ciudad Alta F.C. were awarded a corner. Ramon Lesardo went to the cornerflag to take it. 45 minutes into the game, Foster Brennan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Javi Putov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Ruperto Qwinton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigore Dijmărescu, 1-3. In the 54th minute, Ruperto Qwinton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Alta F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 60 minutes into the match, 叶志云 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Grigore Dijmărescu, 1-5. 63 minutes into the match, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goalkeeper Grigore Dijmărescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 叶志云. Ciudad Alta F.C. were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramon Lesardo took the corner. Ziemowit Jucha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziemowit Jucha in the 71st minute of play forced ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goalkeeper Grigore Dijmărescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ got a freekick which was hit by Foster Brennan. With a little luck, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Grigore Dijmărescu got control of the ball when Ziemowit Jucha tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's goalkeeper Grigore Dijmărescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 叶志云. A collision led to ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Franz Beckenbauer hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ciudad Alta F.C.'s zone, Joel Marcones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javi Putov came out of the goal and Joel Marcones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-6 became the score in the 85th minute when Ruperto Qwinton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Grigore Dijmărescu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when 叶志云 sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Qwinton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grigore Dijmărescu. That made the score 1-7 in the 90 minute of play. Ciudad Alta F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
