The Lauti BOYS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Conrao should have stopped the shot. Aristides Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Ekhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Lauti BOYS's Luisito Ibañez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miromir Czeszejko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miromir Czeszejko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Kaxen in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, El Lobo's Joesph Dalton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristides Conrao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aristides Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Ekhi in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Luisito Ibañez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lauti BOYS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Luisito Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Czeszejko having to interfere. Ceferino Ekhi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lauti BOYS booed when El Lobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Luisito Ibañez made a precise shot to the right of Miromir Czeszejko. El Lobo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Joesph Dalton got free with Aristides Conrao in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to El Lobo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ulises Berdaitz hit a great ball. Aristides Conrao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Berdaitz in the 62nd minute of play. El Lobo were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Lauti BOYS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillermo Santos took the corner. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Lobo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
