Anibal Galeno hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Pasion Tatengue's goalkeeper Stig Wästerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuele Marrone. Thanks to some nice moves Emanuele Marrone could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Stig Wästerberg however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Iraitz in the 30th minute of play forced Bacho Team's goalkeeper Ernesto Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Stig Wästerberg made a huge save. After 39 played minutes Pasion Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Millan. After 39 played minutes, Bacho Team's Hernan Ferrando shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stig Wästerberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Iraitz to make the kick off.
