Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Almiron in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Tajo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Hermengildo Mazuste got a free kick in the 14th minute. Felipe Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Almiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Victorio Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Felipe Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.del.U FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Almiron was slow to take the kick. During this time Sacro Balompié's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Israel Berenguer managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Patricio Mannuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Baltasar Sancho made a huge save. C.del.U FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Almiron in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Justo Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
