In the 14th minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Aimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Almiron in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Aimar saved Sportivo Pejerrey from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Almiron in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Sacro Balompié's Teobaldo Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Aimar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Apolo Peto put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eloy Aimar. Eloy Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Almiron in the 33rd minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Almiron made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sportivo Pejerrey's goalkeeper Eloy Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Peto. In the 70th match minute, Sportivo Pejerrey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Jerano to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Jax blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Aimar having to make a save. Feliberto Havier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Sancho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Almiron in the 80th minute of play forced Sportivo Pejerrey's goalkeeper Eloy Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Pejerrey's Julian Quintana got a free kick in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Sacro Balompié's Eloy Aimar threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gervasio Lidon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aquiles Bieito took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Aimar. Eloy Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Pejerrey's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Sacro Balompié could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sportivo Pejerrey throughout the match.
