Dag Tonheim made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Julian Quintana however managed to control. C.del.U FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andres Musko in the 16th minute. C.del.U FC's Felipe Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Venceslas in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Sportivo Pejerrey got a freekick which was hit by Dag Tonheim. Eloy Aimar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Håkan Wennersten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. C.del.U FC's attentive Delmar Obano managed to snatch the ball when Dag Tonheim made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Pejerrey's Julian Quintana got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Dag Tonheim was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Eloy Aimar was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Håkan Wennersten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Wennersten really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Håkan Wennersten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Håkan Wennersten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eloy Aimar. Håkan Wennersten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Eloy Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Mannuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Quintana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Pejerrey's Geronimo Venceslas got a free kick in the 51st minute. Eloy Aimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Håkan Wennersten went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, C.del.U FC's Håkan Wennersten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Aimar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes Sportivo Pejerrey's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres Musko who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Eliseo Guillelmo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Sportivo Pejerrey. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Pejerrey's Salvador Eleazar got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, C.del.U FC's Andres Musko broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. C.del.U FC were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Sportivo Pejerrey's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andres Musko took the corner. The corner ended in Andres Musko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sportivo Pejerrey's Eloy Aimar did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Wennersten in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Aimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sportivo Pejerrey's Eloy Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Sein in the 83rd minute of play. Eloy Aimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Sein's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, C.del.U FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Musko to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.del.U FC had won after a very even match.
