Spectators: 7683 (Terracing: 5763, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 153) With an all-out effort, Characate FC's Nery Pumpido threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Afonso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 8 minutes into the match, Tabossi's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Afonso came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Gerardo Santikurtz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 11 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Albino Sabin. In the 12th minute, Angelino Pudes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tabossi's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 13th minute of play. Ramiro Isusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Isusko in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Leopoldo Afonso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nery Pumpido. The goal made the score 1-0. Gerardo Santikurtz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nery Pumpido having to make a save. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Uriel Paio made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by John Valeny. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Tadeo Eneas made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Afonso in the 54th minute of play forced Tabossi's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Satordi hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Characate FC's Nestor Gaxan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nery Pumpido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tabossi's zone, Gerardo Santikurtz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nery Pumpido came out of the goal and Gerardo Santikurtz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tabossi's Fausto Ganix was substituted for Fabio Ferman. Tabossi's Rolando Botello was substituted for Tadeo Eneas. Tabossi's Armando Bondi was substituted for Ramiro Isusko. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Armando Bondi scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Price, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 78 minutes, Fausto Ganix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabossi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Ganix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Tabossi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Nalo to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Jorge Satordi with Rolando Botello as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Leon Napierkowski scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nery Pumpido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Bondi in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Characate FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
