After some careless play in the Rossobianco defense, 龚翔宇 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Samaniego. The Rossobianco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Samaniego should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Leña y Leña's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Frantzes came free, but Joel Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico Valentini during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leña y Leña had won after a very even match.
