In the 6th minute Elias Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Central's Elias Roldan got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Martines hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Donato Gustau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Lucchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin got control of the ball when Gerson Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Roldan took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Quintin. Zeledon Quintin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zeledon Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Roldan in the 30th minute of the match. Zeledon Quintin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerson Carneiro in the 32nd minute. When Rosario Central's Elias Roldan in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalie prevented a goal. Elias Roldans short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Zeledon Quintin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeledon Quintin made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gerson Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kam Brejnebøl to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Quintin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias Roldan went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Roldan to make the kick off. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Linea 174 Ramal Castillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trond Sørli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elias Roldan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Roldan couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Elias Roldan hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosario Central's goalkeeper Cristian Lucchetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Quintin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerson Carneiro in the 65th minute of the match. Donato Gustau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Cristian Lucchetti made a huge save. In the 67thth minute of the game Gerson Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Piotr Perkowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zeledon Quintin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rosario Central's Cristian Lucchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Tholsson in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Martines in the 72nd minute of play forced Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Hotz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 84th playminute. Rosario Central made a substitution. Igor Silvino replaced Gerson Carneiro. Rosario Central's Justo Mergildo was substituted for Elias Roldan. Cristian Lucchetti came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Donato Gustau. But to his dismay, Donato Gustau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's Zeledon Quintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Silvino in the 95th minute of play. Rosario Central succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Linea 174 Ramal Castillo had controlled the match.
