After 16 minutes La Herradura FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Quiroga who took care of the corner kick. Braulio Maties stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. You Sheng Qi came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO's David Quiroga. But to his dismay, David Quiroga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Braulio Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Baldovino in the 26th minute of play. If Marian Brytan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The La Herradura FC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when La Herradura FC's Ernesto Baldovino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Braulio Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Grillo in the 44th minute of play. You Sheng Qi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half La Herradura FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Baldovino made a kick off. The supporters of La Herradura FC booed when PICAPIEDRAS DE ALMAGRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, La Herradura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Montenegro came free, but You Sheng Qi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Maties showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Baldovino in the 69th minute of the match.
