Xerardo Gasso was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emil Kostadinov. Emil Kostadinov hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Loki The Cat's Mateo Astrada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristián Cuenca in the 14th minute of play. Severo Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mateo Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Loki The Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Lauaxeta came free, but Mateo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Loki The Cat getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Donato Inautzi hit a great ball. Mateo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Jaen in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, CARPINCHO FC's Xerardo Gasso got control of the ball when Filiberto Bikendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Artemio Cidro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Xerardo Gasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Severo Jaen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Astrada was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Cidro to make the kick off. Severo Jaen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Mateo Astrada made a huge save. Loki The Cat's Artemio Cidro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mateo Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Bikendi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xerardo Gasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Cristián Cuenca might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Astrada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristián Cuenca ran back to his position shaking his head. Xerardo Gasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Kostadinov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Mateo Lauaxeta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CARPINCHO FC and the Loki The Cat players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CARPINCHO FC's Mateo Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 70th minute. Xerardo Gasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Kostadinov in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Loki The Cat's zone, Cristián Cuenca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Astrada came out of the goal and Cristián Cuenca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Cristián Cuenca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Lauaxeta got free with Mateo Astrada in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateo Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Cristián Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loki The Cat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
