Fidel Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Görkem Tokdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Olof Hamberg struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Arnaldo Mingo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La MaKina del Parque. Arnaldo Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atay Sayılgan in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the game Benigno Gorosti made a throw-in which Cahit Bican played forward. Arnaldo Mingo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julius Klačko in the 18th minute. Julius Klačko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnaldo Mingo came out and tried to block the shot, but Julius Klačko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Antônio Carlos Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Club Atlético Aldosivi got a freekick which was hit by Cahit Bican. The attack was good, but when Antônio Carlos Donato in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Atay Sayılgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Mingo having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Julius Klačko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnaldo Mingo. Julius Klačko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julius Klačko to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Julius Klačko put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnaldo Mingo. In the 58th minute, Alfred Wisniewski made a precise shot to the right of Görkem Tokdemir. La MaKina del Parque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Arnaldo Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Hamberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Aldosivi booed when La MaKina del Parque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Kisielka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes La MaKina del Parque got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Kisielka. When the referee blew the final whistle, La MaKina del Parque could leave the field as winners, despite Club Atlético Aldosivi having more of the ball for most of the match.
