Leonides Nayely made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aldo Fernanco immediately put the ball in play. After 17 minutes, Mircea Buciuceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Mukenio and the El Retorno de Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismael Gimenez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 18th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zygmunt Malik. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Nayely. 24 minutes in the game Leonides Nayely did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Benicio Osasun. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Osasun. Zygmunt Malik, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. El Retorno de Palermo's Jerom Quvelirs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Malik came free, but Ismael Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Aziz Akarsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerom Quvelirs. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aziz Akarsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 47th minute, Ramon Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The El Retorno de Palermo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Mukenio were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aziz Akarsu to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik in the 59th minute of play. El Retorno de Palermo's Jerom Quvelirs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno de Palermo from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Aziz Akarsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerom Quvelirs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Osasun in the 68th minute of play forced Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Ismael Gimenez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Mukenio getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ramon Rius hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Akarsu in the 82nd minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Jerom Quvelirs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the game Leonides Nayely made a throw-in which Huang Zhen Bo played forward. When Leonides Nayely fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Retorno de Palermo's protests and gave Leonides Nayely a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Leonides Nayely hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Mikus Linkūns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Gimenez. Deportivo Mukenio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikus Linkūns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Aziz Akarsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerom Quvelirs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Jerom Quvelirs was a little too slow when Aziz Akarsu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-3. The El Retorno de Palermo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deportivo Mukenio's performance. The match ended with a win for Deportivo Mukenio.
