With a left leg Cornelio Nardo saved Gep FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuralp Eracar in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Nardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florida United were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Gep FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruperto Amato took the corner. In the 12th minute, Elvio Louis made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Ibar. Florida United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Amato in the 17th minute of play forced Gep FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Sol Campbell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gep FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Nuralp Eracar scored to the left of an out of position Cornelio Nardo, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Eracar in the 35th minute of play forced Gep FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Nuralp Eracar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cornelio Nardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Sol Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When Mark Bållström came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Florida United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Bållström couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Mark Bållström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Louis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gabriel Ibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gep FC's Ali Yılmaz was substituted for Juan Müller. With a little luck, Florida United's Gabriel Ibar got control of the ball when Ali Yılmaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Ali Yılmaz lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Gabriel Ibar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Zelenák during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Gep FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Zelenák.
