In the 5th minute of the match, Leonel Semeno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Federico Jaizki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Melberg in the 9th minute of play. Baldomiro Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Calvet in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Mega's goalkeeper Federico Jaizki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quilaquina AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Favila in the 16th minute. The supporters of Los Mega booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Valerio in the 21st minute of play forced Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Semeno in the 23rd minute of the match. Baldomiro Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Leonel Semeno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilaquina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Semeno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Jaizki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Favila hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Melberg in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Los Mega booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Francesco Totti made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Stig-Arne Melberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Cibran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 53rd match minute, Quilaquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Pitin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Melberg got free with Baldomiro Cibran in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Los Mega got a freekick which was hit by Angel Valerio. In the 61st minute Hieronim Siwy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Cibran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Totti got free with Baldomiro Cibran in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Los Mega's Francesco Totti in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 71st minute of the match, Francesco Totti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baldomiro Cibran was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baldomiro Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Siwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Totti got free with Baldomiro Cibran in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig-Arne Melberg struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Baldomiro Cibran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Mega. 78 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Calvet came free, but Baldomiro Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's Feliberto Pitin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Jaizki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran got control of the ball when Stig-Arne Melberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baldomiro Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Siwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
