The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Xabier got free with Taavet Uluk in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Cordarell hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Candido Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Distiratsu in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Te Pito o Te Henua's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Distiratsu came free, but Candido Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Te Pito o Te Henua were awarded a corner. Jonathan Xabier went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Te Pito o Te Henua's Marcelo Moise getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Candido Hanni made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Nemesio Distiratsu sent off a good shot on target. Candido Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Sidoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
