Baldomiro Cibran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sacit Refik went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leonel Semeno came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Efrain Maria could save by the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Harri. In the 10th minute, Niklas Dalkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gladiadores Legionarios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Efrain Maria stood somewhat misplaced when Feliberto Pitin came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Leonel Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Haroldo Abadie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Cibran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gladiadores Legionarios's Generoso Cresitobalo got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Efrain Maria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Su Xiang Sha hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Leonel Semeno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Efrain Maria firmly grabbed it by the left post. Haroldo Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baldomiro Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Dalkvist in the 36th minute of the match. Baldomiro Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Dalkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gladiadores Legionarios booed when Quilaquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Abadie in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Quilaquina AFC defense, Niklas Dalkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Cibran. The Quilaquina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Cibran should have stopped the shot. After the first half Gladiadores Legionarios were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Dinescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sacit Refik, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gladiadores Legionarios's Efrain Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Semeno in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Dinescu in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Maria saved Gladiadores Legionarios from getting behind. A collision led to Gladiadores Legionarios getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ermegildo Calvet hit a great ball. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sacit Refik in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Quilaquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Adrio to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Cibran made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Haroldo Abadie sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Dalkvist came free, but Baldomiro Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Feliberto Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Abadie got free with Baldomiro Cibran in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efrain Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Harri in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quilaquina AFC's zone, Sacit Refik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Cibran came out of the goal and Sacit Refik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Quilaquina AFC's Marcos Adrio got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With an all-out effort, Gladiadores Legionarios's Baldomiro Cibran threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sacit Refik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Baldomiro Cibran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sacit Refik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 88 minute of play. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marcos Adrio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Dalkvist in the 95th minute of play forced Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gladiadores Legionarios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
