With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Dytrych in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Poenaru saved Sportivo Desamparados from getting behind. Ferdinand Poenaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zula Dytrych in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Pitoy Corton notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru. Ferdinand Poenaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the game, San Antonio FC's Abel Olivar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Poenaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Pitoy Corton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Abel Olivar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdinand Poenaru was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Ferdinand Poenaru came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by San Antonio FC's Pitoy Corton. But to his dismay, Pitoy Corton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zula Dytrych was the one to do the kick off. Zula Dytrych came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ferdinand Poenaru could save by the left post. Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Olivar in the 57th minute of play. Ferdinand Poenaru came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by San Antonio FC's Abel Olivar. But to his dismay, Abel Olivar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Freddy Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Gutierrez in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match Sportivo Desamparados got a corner. San Antonio FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Dayam ran over to the corner to take the kick. David Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zula Dytrych in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferdinand Poenaru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, David Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Antonio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Laurentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdinand Poenaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Pitoy Corton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Poenaru. Sportivo Desamparados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pitoy Corton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 79th minute, Abel Olivar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Desamparados's zone, Pitoy Corton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Poenaru came out of the goal and Pitoy Corton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Zula Dytrych had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Poenaru. Sportivo Desamparados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zula Dytrych was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Zula Dytrych sped through Sportivo Desamparados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferdinand Poenaru. A collision led to Sportivo Desamparados getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Giuliano Lovera hit a great ball. Justino Dayam's late challenge caught a San Antonio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Dayam helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Justino Dayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sportivo Desamparados's Ferdinand Poenaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pitoy Corton in the 95th minute of play.
