The referee showed Jonathan Xabier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match San Antonio FC got a corner. Te Pito o Te Henua's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando Bernaldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Zula Dytrych fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Antonio FC's protests and gave Zula Dytrych a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, San Antonio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Dytrych to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Antonio FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Te Pito o Te Henua had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
