The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Los Mega's Francesco Totti in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Te Pito o Te Henua's goalie prevented a goal. The Los Mega fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Los Mega's Francesco Totti looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute Francesco Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Totti in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Hieronim Siwy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Candido Hanni skillfully saved the ball. Candido Hanni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Resel in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Stig-Arne Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Mega's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Melberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Hanni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francesco Totti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Candido Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Te Pito o Te Henua's Candido Hanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Calvet in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Los Mega got a corner. Te Pito o Te Henua's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Joseph ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 29 minutes, Stig-Arne Melberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Mega and the Te Pito o Te Henua players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Los Mega got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Melberg. In the 31st minute Abel Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Melberg got free with Candido Hanni in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Calvet in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Te Pito o Te Henua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Eneas to maneuver through the defense. Mario Joseph received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Candido Hanni came out and tried to block the shot, but Mario Joseph slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Melberg got free with Candido Hanni in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miroslaw Resel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Candido Hanni made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francesco Totti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Abel Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Te Pito o Te Henua's Jimeno Bidari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Jaizki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Hanni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Abel Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Los Mega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Calvet couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Francesco Totti sped through Te Pito o Te Henua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Candido Hanni. Te Pito o Te Henua made a substitution. Julio Peru replaced Severino Gasteiz. Candido Hanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Candido Hanni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Totti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Calvet in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Calvet in the 89th minute of play forced Te Pito o Te Henua's goalkeeper Candido Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Calvet in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Francesco Totti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Candido Hanni was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Los Mega players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
