The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Abaurre in the 3rd minute of play forced Atlético Rio Cuarto's goalkeeper Bernardino Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Gustav Högström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Angelino Inautzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Justino Porfiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Donato Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Custódio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Inautzi in the 43rd minute of the match. Bernardino Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Dalmai in the 45th minute of the match. Joaquim Custódio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Dimas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Custódio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Joaquim Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Atlético Rio Cuarto were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Angelino Inautzi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Inautzi in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justino Porfiro saved ZARA GOZA 2.0 from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Inautzi got free with Justino Porfiro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorio Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ZARA GOZA 2.0 made a substitution. Hermengildo Matia replaced Nicasio Azubeli. Bernardino Dimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Dalmai's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 77th minute of the game Benigno Estefan made a throw-in which Aristide Lelescu played forward. In the 78th minute Angelino Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Estefan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, ZARA GOZA 2.0's Justino Porfiro got control of the ball when Angelino Inautzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Honorio Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Belo came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
