C. Solitario's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Atarrabi came free, but Cláudio-André Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Liu Feng Jing sped through F. C. Solitario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cláudio-André Taffarel. 12 minutes into the match, Serafin Criston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio-André Taffarel. F. C. Solitario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafin Criston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Ernest Legg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Nicodim Alecu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cláudio-André Taffarel. F. C. Solitario's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute, Liu Feng Jing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio-André Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Serafin Criston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio-André Taffarel. Cláudio-André Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Atarrabi in the 25th minute of play. In the 34th minute Serafin Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio-André Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F. C. Solitario's Ernest Legg got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio-André Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Atarrabi in the 37th minute of the match. Cláudio-André Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liu Feng Jing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, C.A.P.J.'s Liu Feng Jing nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio-André Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Criston was the one to do the kick off. Cláudio-André Taffarel was a little too slow when Serafin Criston got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-8. Maximo Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Rene Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio-André Taffarel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Feng Jing in the 76th minute of play forced F. C. Solitario's goalkeeper Cláudio-André Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Liu Feng Jing took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Cláudio-André Taffarel to make any attempt to save it. Rene Atarrabi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cláudio-André Taffarel firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 94th minute, Celso Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The F. C. Solitario fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A.P.J. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
