Isidro Maidana took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Frechoso. Narciso Frechoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Velez sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Qin Kun Xi. Narciso Frechoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Beti's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Qin Kun Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mai Yao Yao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qin Kun Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. Mai Yao Yao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qin Kun Xi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Velez sarsfield booed when Fracasados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Hai Ang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Qin Kun Xi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mai Yao Yao. Qin Kun Xi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Qin Kun Xi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fracasados's Javier Beti in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Yan Hai Ang with Ciro Tab as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 44 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Beti came free, but Narciso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Leo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qin Kun Xi made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Fracasados's Yan Hai Ang got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Beti came free, but Narciso Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Velez sarsfield's Qin Kun Xi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mai Yao Yao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Velez sarsfield were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Fracasados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio Regis took the corner. In the 67th minute, Emil Zbytniewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velez sarsfield's attentive Emil Zbytniewski managed to snatch the ball when Yan Hai Ang made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Pico in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mai Yao Yao saved Fracasados from getting behind. Walter Pico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mai Yao Yao having to make a save. Fracasados's Mai Yao Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Pico in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Walter Pico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mai Yao Yao. Fracasados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Pico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 86 minutes into the game, Velez sarsfield's Walter Pico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mai Yao Yao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 88 minutes into the game, Isidro Maidana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fracasados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez sarsfield the free kick. Isidro Maidana hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Fabio Regis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mai Yao Yao skillfully saved the ball. Narciso Frechoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Beti in the 94th minute of play. Isidro Maidana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Narciso Frechoso made a huge save. In the 97th minute of the match Fracasados got a corner. Velez sarsfield's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geronimo Giraldo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Geronimo Giraldo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Velez sarsfield's Narciso Frechoso did a great save.
