The throw-in from Horacio Chaime in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Florida Gulf Coast's Gilberto Lekubegi. After 28 minutes of play, Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Darien was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Ceandro came free, but Luis Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lukáš Katačić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Nardo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Hugo Ceandro sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Ceandro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Luis Nardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Ceandro got free with Luis Nardo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lukáš Katačić might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidoro Darien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukáš Katačić ran back to his position shaking his head. ALEMCA's Isidoro Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukáš Katačić in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Horacio Chaime threw the ball into play from the sideline. Florida Gulf Coast's Gilberto Lekubegi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Florida Gulf Coast booed when ALEMCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ALEMCA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Florida Gulf Coast were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukáš Katačić to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ALEMCA's goal looked a bit too open when Lukáš Katačić came free, but Isidoro Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lukáš Katačić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Darien was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Horacio Chaime made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Florida Gulf Coast's Gilberto Lekubegi. In the 69thth minute of the game Lukáš Katačić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALEMCA's Isidoro Darien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute Lukáš Katačić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Bitxintxo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Darien. Isidoro Darien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Lukáš Katačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Florida Gulf Coast's Geronimo Bonadona got a free kick in the 88th minute. Horacio Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The ALEMCA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Florida Gulf Coast were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
