A collision led to RED DEVIL getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Astor Leoiar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Fernando Barreiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. RED DEVIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Barreiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13thth minute of the game Ceferino Monte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RED DEVIL's Ali Cafer Konuralp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cayetano Francho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Barreiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Prospero Petri sent off a good shot on target. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Romo in the 22nd minute of play. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Ubarna in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Barreiros in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Francho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute of the match RED DEVIL got a corner. Patay Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Barreiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Fernando Barreiros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho did a great save. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Etxeberri in the 25th minute of play. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Barreiros in the 28th minute of play. Ruben Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Francho having to interfere. RED DEVIL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Edgard Ledesma scored to the left of an out of position Ali Cafer Konuralp, making the score, 1-1. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Romo in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ali Cafer Konuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Petri in the 58th minute of play forced RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Konuralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Cafer Konuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Monte in the 64th minute of play. Ali Cafer Konuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Ikatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patay Juniors's Cayetano Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Barreiros in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute Prospero Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cafer Konuralp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cedric Ceballos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Patay Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cedric Ceballos couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Edgard Ledesma made a precise shot to the right of Ali Cafer Konuralp. RED DEVIL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the RED DEVIL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Patay Juniors.
