But to his dismay, Jorge Matro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Iñaki fiutbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Bertran came free, but Adolfo Chavarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Jorge Matro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boquete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Matro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Chavarria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Boquete's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Pombal came free, but Rony Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iñaki fiutbol club's Adolfo Chavarria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Bertran in the 21st minute of play. The Boquete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rony Paulista should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Boquete booed when Iñaki fiutbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Varioz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Hector Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Chavarria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iñaki fiutbol club's Teobaldo Txindoki got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Iñaki fiutbol club's goalkeeper Adolfo Chavarria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Bertran. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, José Maria Pombal put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rony Paulista. Many of Boquete's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Boquete may have spent more time on the ball, but Iñaki fiutbol club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
