The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonardo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Manex in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute Barni Lattapiat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cepicó FC's Serafin Blai got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barni Lattapiat in the 14th minute of play forced Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Barni Lattapiat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Frichoso. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 19th minute, Wilfredo Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Inter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Leonardo Frichoso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Pedro Manex sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Barni Lattapiat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Frichoso was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Santiago Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Asur in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Cepicó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Endira to maneuver through the defense. Guido Endira's late challenge caught a El Inter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Endira helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Inter booed when Cepicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, El Inter's Eugenio Laurin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Frichoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 36 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Manex. Wilfredo Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Leonardo Frichoso made a huge save. Cepicó FC's Leonardo Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barni Lattapiat in the 39th minute of play. Cepicó FC's Leonardo Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cepicó FC from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Arce was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, El Inter's Ubaldo Paulin made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 67 minutes of play Cepicó FC's Guido Endira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cepicó FC's Guido Endira got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes, El Inter's Wilfredo Arce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Inter reached it. After some careless play in the Cepicó FC defense, Wilfredo Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Frichoso. The Cepicó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Frichoso should have stopped the shot. Leonardo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Manex in the 95th minute of play. El Inter walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
