Leonardo Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svetaslav Yanchyk. Albino Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Leonardo Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Frichoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svetaslav Yanchyk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of Libertad FC booed when Cepicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cepicó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Argina came free, but Leonardo Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Benitez charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Benitez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erasmo Benitez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Leonardo Frichoso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Libertad FC's Svetaslav Yanchyk. But to his dismay, Svetaslav Yanchyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leonardo Frichoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Argina went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Cefero to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Florentino Argina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Leonardo Frichoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Florentino Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 69th minute of play forced Cepicó FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Frichoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Iker Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Svetaslav Yanchyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Frichoso. Cepicó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svetaslav Yanchyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Leonardo Frichoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morten Hovland went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Svetaslav Yanchyk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Frichoso. Cepicó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svetaslav Yanchyk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Libertad FC fully deserved thier win.
