When Horacio Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blitzkrieg's protests and gave Horacio Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Blitzkrieg's Horacio Gonzalez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Laguneros de AT's zone, Amancio Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Barea came out of the goal and Amancio Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Amancio Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Blitzkrieg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Telesforo couldn't finish the play. Amancio Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Barea having to interfere. Amancio Telesforo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Anibal Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Maxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Maxin got free with Fabio Mikelats in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes in the game, Anibal Maxin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabio Mikelats having to interfere. Amancio Telesforo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blitzkrieg's Amancio Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Anibal Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute Amancio Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Barea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Anibal Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Laguneros de AT's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Maxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Mikelats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Martin Bermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Telesforo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Blitzkrieg booed when Los Laguneros de AT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los Laguneros de AT's Leonardo Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Telesforo in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Blitzkrieg got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bermudo. After 72 played minutes Los Laguneros de AT got a freekick which was hit by Benito Matteo. After a defensive mix-up in Los Laguneros de AT's zone, Amancio Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Barea came out of the goal and Amancio Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Blitzkrieg getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Horacio Gonzalez hit a great ball. Benito Matteo made in the 91st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anibal Maxin immediately put the ball in play. In the 96th minute, Los Laguneros de AT's Ivan Stafuza seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Stafuza the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Laguneros de AT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Stafuza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 96th minute, one of Los Laguneros de AT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Laguneros de AT. The score was 0-1 after a penalty in the 98th minute, where Blitzkrieg:s Donato Ongile tricked Los Laguneros de AT:s Leonardo Barea with a difficult ball by the left post. The Blitzkrieg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
