Gonçalo Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bakker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ernst Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Resistencia's Gaetano Mathieu got control of the ball when Fausto Bertol tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ernst Vestlund came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the White StarZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Vestlund couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernst Vestlund in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaetano Mathieu saved Resistencia from getting behind. In the 39th minute Ernst Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaetano Mathieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia's zone, Ernst Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaetano Mathieu came out of the goal and Ernst Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernst Vestlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. White StarZ made a substitution. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Vestlund made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Fausto Bertol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gaetano Mathieu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fausto Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gaetano Mathieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Bertol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaetano Mathieu having to make a save. Gaetano Mathieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Bertol in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Hugo Bakker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. White StarZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Hugo Bakker scored to the left of an out of position Gonçalo Vides, making the score, 2-1. If Fausto Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fausto Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When White StarZ's Fausto Bertol in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gaetano Mathieu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonçalo Vides was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddy Sabin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 86 minute of play. If Fausto Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Resistencia's Domingos Isusko got a free kick in the 96th minute. 98 minutes into the game, Fausto Bertol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Gaetano Mathieu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The White StarZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Resistencia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
