Hans-Martin Haugsvær did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Rodrigo Velloso 17 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Martin Haugsvær in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Goyo Rivas FC's Alejandro Ordono got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Alejandro Ordono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Velloso made a huge save. Hans-Martin Haugsvær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Lars Seidenfad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Edelmiro Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rodrigo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Martin Haugsvær's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Goyo Rivas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alejandro Ordono in the 55th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Schmuel Schophuis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Nicasio Mingo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patas Duras FC's protests and gave Nicasio Mingo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Patas Duras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Mingo to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Bertran struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Lars Seidenfad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patas Duras FC. Goyo Rivas FC's Piotrek Stepin was substituted for Alejandro Ordono. 72 minutes into the match, Patas Duras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berdoi came free, but Rodrigo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cirilo Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Goyo Rivas FC's Cirilo Pelayo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Patas Duras FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Patas Duras FC's Nicasio Mingo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Goyo Rivas FC's Lars Seidenfad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Goyo Rivas FC from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Goyo Rivas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
