After 11 played minutes Anguilan FC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Maxin. Barrilete Cosmico's Tadeo Bernat got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Moises Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Anguilan FC got a freekick which was hit by Peder Häll. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Santio got free with Olimpiu Buligan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpiu Buligan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Santio's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Olimpiu Buligan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Santio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Francesco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsenio Frascuelo having to make a save. Arsenio Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Francesco in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Arnulfo Santio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Anguilan FC defense, Moises Francesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Frascuelo. The Anguilan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Frascuelo should have stopped the shot. The nice shot from Arnulfo Santio in the 46thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Olimpiu Buligan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The supporters of Anguilan FC booed when Barrilete Cosmico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Bela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Santio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Olimpiu Buligan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 48 minutes in the game, Arnulfo Santio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Francesco to make the kick off. Barrilete Cosmico's Moises Francesco got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Bingen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olimpiu Buligan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Bernat during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Tadeo Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Anguilan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Santio to maneuver through the defense.
