Artemio Jakes was slow to take the kick. During this time Sakura FC's players had a chance to rest. Artemio Jakes made a great header on Sakura FC's corner, it was just that Red Bull Crystallis's Lucas Bastia managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernt Jønsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Bastia. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Jønsson got free with Lucas Bastia in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Co Kac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Bastia. That made the score 4-0 in the 19 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Jønsson got free with Lucas Bastia in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernt Jønsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Teodoro Guillelme took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Lucas Bastia to make any attempt to save it. 28 minutes into the game, Sakura FC's Bernt Jønsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 31st play minutes Bernt Jønsson shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Lucas Bastia and just under the crossbar into goal. Cecilio Steven kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Bernt Jønsson scored 8-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucas Bastia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 played minutes Red Bull Crystallis got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Steven. Bernt Jønsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Lucas Bastia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The throw-in from Mario Sustrai in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Bull Crystallis's Stevie Gerrard. In the 45th minute, Bernt Jønsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Sakura FC booed when Red Bull Crystallis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stevie Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakura FC made a substitution. Dušan Vlahović replaced Co Kac. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dušan Vlahović was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Dušan Vlahović notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Red Bull Crystallis's Lucas Bastia. Lucas Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Red Bull Crystallis's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Lucas Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Sakura FC's Dušan Vlahović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Bastia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Dušan Vlahović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sakura FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Sakura FC's Dušan Vlahović got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Red Bull Crystallis defense, Bernt Jønsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Bastia. The Red Bull Crystallis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Bastia should have stopped the shot. After 84 minutes of play, Sakura FC's Dušan Vlahović made it 17-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dušan Vlahović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Bastia having to interfere. Bernt Jønsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Bastia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Jønsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute Dušan Vlahović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Jønsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Bastia having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sakura FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
