Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dario Artizar started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Toninho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riverplatense CARP's Erasmo Urtsua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Sand in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Riverplatense CARP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basilio Bertran was slow to take the kick. During this time Pucará's players had a chance to rest. Pucará's Basilio Bertran was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erasmo Urtsua in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 10 played minutes Riverplatense CARP got a freekick which was hit by Lino Txindoki. Dario Artizar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erasmo Urtsua firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pepe Sand took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Urtsua. Erasmo Urtsua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dario Artizars short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Erasmo Urtsua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pepe Sand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Artizar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Erasmo Urtsua when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Erasmo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepe Sand in the 26th minute. Dario Artizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Erasmo Urtsua made a huge save. A collision led to Riverplatense CARP getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alvaro Lorenz hit a great ball. Erasmo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Artizar in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes Pucará got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Sayveon. Lautaro Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Leão in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Pucará booed when Riverplatense CARP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Toninho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Pucará's Erasmo Urtsua threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pepe Sand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erasmo Urtsua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Artizar in the 45th minute.

In the 52nd minute, Gogo Dodorol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes of play, Pucará's Pepe Sand made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erasmo Urtsua was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pepe Sand took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Urtsua. Erasmo Urtsua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a little luck, Pucará's Lautaro Morales got control of the ball when Toninho Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cesar Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverplatense CARP's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Morales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Loco got free with Lautaro Morales in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Morales was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Toninho Leão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toninho Leão really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Toninho Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Lautaro Morales made a huge save. Lautaro Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Loco in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Basilio Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pucará's Franco Orozco was substituted for Pepe Sand. Basilio Bertran kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Pucará's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Leão came free, but Lautaro Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Etxekopar in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Dario Artizar made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Urtsua. Riverplatense CARP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 88th minute, Jonas Maurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toninho Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Lautaro Morales made a huge save. Erasmo Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Orozco in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pucará fans cheered their team off the field, for while Riverplatense CARP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
