Red Bull Crystallis's Lucas Bastia hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-4! After 24 minutes of play, La Cienaga's Alonzo Botello made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Johannes Moorlag ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Bastia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 30th minute, Radamel-Falcao García left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Cienaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Lucas Bastia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radamel-Falcao García went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute, Radamel-Falcao García made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Bastia. Red Bull Crystallis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Red Bull Crystallis's Lucas Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Moorlag in the 40th minute of play. Lucas Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Moorlag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Johannes Moorlag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Lucas Bastia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Bastia came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cienaga's Dario Benedetto. But to his dismay, Dario Benedetto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-11 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Flor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Stevie Gerrard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 56 played minutes Red Bull Crystallis got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Gerrard. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Benedetto in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Moorlag in the 59th minute of play forced Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Lucas Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Bastia came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cienaga's Johannes Moorlag. But to his dismay, Johannes Moorlag quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 67 minutes into the match, Dario Benedetto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Bastia, 0-14. La Cienaga's Dario Benedetto got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes in the game Aquilino Gartzea did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alonzo Botello. The supporters of La Cienaga booed when Red Bull Crystallis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radamel-Falcao García came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucas Bastia could save by the left post. The supporters of Red Bull Crystallis booed when La Cienaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radamel-Falcao García didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Bull Crystallis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Radamel-Falcao García scored to the left of an out of position Lucas Bastia, making the score, 0-15. Dario Benedetto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-16. Dario Benedetto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-17 in the 89th playminute. In the 93rd match minute, La Cienaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Benedetto to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over La Cienaga could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Red Bull Crystallis throughout the match.
