Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Lorencio in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rivermania FC's zone, Ernesto Nafarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Hulberto came out of the goal and Ernesto Nafarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Pero came free, but Severino Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Santxol in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Montenegro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Carlos Montenegro managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Uhin during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rivermania FC's Victor Bazkoare got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Severino Hulberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbe Snow. The ZAFIRO FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
