Joel Cristofor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeronimo Elizardo lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 15th minute, one of NECKER49:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NECKER49. The referee gave Rivermania FC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor Bazkoare, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of NECKER49's Joel Cristofor. 0-2. With a little luck, Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto got control of the ball when Henry Rockeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Erasmo Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NECKER49's Blaise Dahmani was substituted for Wilson Severino. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blaise Dahmani to make the kick off. Joel Cristofor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Flor in the 54th minute. When Pedro Llope fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NECKER49's protests and gave Pedro Llope a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Llope hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Victor Bazkoare shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Cristofor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Henry Rockeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Rockeloos in the 64th minute of play. NECKER49's Joel Cristofor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save NECKER49 from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Rivermania FC's Rosendo Flor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Cristofor. Joel Cristofor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 79th minute Rosendo Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Ana Tatangelo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Cristofor, 1-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rivermania FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
