When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aristides Duarte sped through La escuelita volvió!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pankracy Klimkiewicz. After 8 minutes of play, Waragorn's Gino Peruzzi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pankracy Klimkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luar Carballeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Mikaelsson having to make a save. After having played for 15 minutes, Aristides Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waragorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 played minutes Waragorn got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Duarte. In the 20th minute Basilio Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Klimkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Klimkiewicz having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gino Peruzzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pankracy Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Maiorga in the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Basilio Maiorga put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Pankracy Klimkiewicz. In the 34th minute, Basilio Maiorga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Klimkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 39 minutes, Maracanã Travieso made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Waragorn's Jens Mikaelsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Basilio Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waragorn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Duarte in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maracanã Travieso to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Waragorn's Cheche Troche got a free kick in the 52nd minute. La escuelita volvió!'s Pankracy Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Maiorga in the 53rd minute of play. Waragorn were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after La escuelita volvió!'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Duarte took the corner. When Basilio Maiorga came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Waragorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Maiorga couldn't finish the play. Waragorn made a substitution. Javier Nuxila replaced Bonifacio Aballe. Pankracy Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Peruzzi in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Duarte got free with Pankracy Klimkiewicz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, La escuelita volvió!'s Pankracy Klimkiewicz got control of the ball when Basilio Maiorga tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Waragorn's zone, Maracanã Travieso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Mikaelsson came out of the goal and Maracanã Travieso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tiburcio Ganix fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La escuelita volvió!'s protests and gave Tiburcio Ganix a yellow card for diving instead. Waragorn made a substitution. Igor Cordeara replaced Basilio Maiorga. Igor Cordeara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Waragorn's Igor Cordeara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pankracy Klimkiewicz. Pankracy Klimkiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Epifanio Izotz hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Pankracy Klimkiewicz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Waragorn's Igor Cordeara. But to his dismay, Igor Cordeara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. After a defensive mix-up in La escuelita volvió!'s zone, Aristides Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Klimkiewicz came out of the goal and Aristides Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute of the match, Igor Cordeara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pankracy Klimkiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 87 in the game by Aristides Duarte from a close distance when the talented Pankracy Klimkiewicz managed to make a qualified save. La escuelita volvió!'s players were relieved. The nice shot from Aristides Duarte in the 87thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pankracy Klimkiewicz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. La escuelita volvió!'s Pankracy Klimkiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save La escuelita volvió! from getting a goal against them. Pankracy Klimkiewicz stood somewhat misplaced when Igor Cordeara came free in front of goal and shot 1-8 to the left of him in the 93 minute. Waragorn's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
