In the 27thth minute of the game Breno da Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carboncito's Javier Bastian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carboncito's Cosme Sugar got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Jokin in the 35th minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
