Orlando Beti was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Martin Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Jokin in the 18th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, River Super Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Sugar came free, but Martin Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Beti in the 27th minute of play forced River Super Club's goalkeeper Martin Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Sugar was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, River Super Club's Martin Cayo got control of the ball when Fulgencio Poz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute Cosme Sugar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River Super Club's Martin Cayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save River Super Club from getting a goal against them. A collision led to River Super Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Omiros Belesis hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Sugar in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Cayo saved River Super Club from getting behind. Martin Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Sugar in the 67th minute of the match. Fulgencio Poz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Cayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of River Super Club booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carboncito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
