After a rather tough play, Mamboreta FC's Javier Pinola got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Batista in the 16th minute of play forced Mamboreta FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Arnulfo Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Estefan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Tohias in the 23rd minute of play forced Mamboreta FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Patrik Hökqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gl3n Grant A C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eliseo Totakoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel-Omar Batistuta in the 38th minute of play. Guaberto Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Hökqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Eliseo Totakoxe made a huge save.

If Israel Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mamboreta FC's zone, Arnulfo Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Estefan came out of the goal and Arnulfo Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gl3n Grant A C's Eliseo Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Urritz in the 57th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Mamboreta FC's Silvestre Urritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Totakoxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Arnulfo Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Guaberto Estefan made a huge save. Fermin Olivar's late challenge caught a Mamboreta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fermin Olivar helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Batista in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Estefan saved Mamboreta FC from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Mamboreta FC's goalkeeper Guaberto Estefan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Hökqvist. When Silverio Liher fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gl3n Grant A C's protests and gave Silverio Liher a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Silverio Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mamboreta FC's Guaberto Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mamboreta FC from getting a goal against them. 76 minutes into the match, Gl3n Grant A C's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Batistuta came free, but Eliseo Totakoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Totakoxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Urritz's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Silvestre Urritz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Totakoxe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 83rd match minute, Gl3n Grant A C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Liher to maneuver through the defense. Feo Loramendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eliseo Totakoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gabriel-Omar Batistuta came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mamboreta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel-Omar Batistuta couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Estefan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bressal John in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Mamboreta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bressal John came free, but Guaberto Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
