Patricio Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eber Ludueña was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Elvio Gauargi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Eber Ludueña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Martin Cayo made a huge save. Delmar Kusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neymar Juniors, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Martin Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Lizzio in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Lizzio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Cayo saved River Super Club from getting behind. Delmar Kusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neymar Juniors in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Nils-Erik Röd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neymar Juniors's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Kusko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, River Super Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Pello during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerardo Pello hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Neymar Juniors made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Mormones FC's goalkeeper Delmar Kusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by La Longa with Gilberto Quinten as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Delmar Kusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neymar Juniors, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. River Super Club were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Los Mormones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Artaldo took the corner. The corner led River Super Club's Modesto Platon to fire away a dangerous shot which Delmar Kusko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eber Ludueña in the 59th minute of play forced River Super Club's goalkeeper Martin Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Eber Ludueña left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Mormones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 67th minute Pablo Lizzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River Super Club's Martin Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Lizzio in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Gerardo Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, River Super Club's Gerardo Pello got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute Neymar Juniors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Kusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, River Super Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pello to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Martin Cayo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Mormones FC's Pablo Lizzio. But to his dismay, Pablo Lizzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Eber Ludueña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Patricio Filipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Mormones FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
