In the 4th match minute, Kalessin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Regis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Navarro in the 5th minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Raimundo Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Fervent Stalkers got a corner. Kalessin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eleuterio Donostia ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Fervent Stalkers's Eleuterio Donostia got a free kick in the 12th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Kalessin's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Navarro came free, but Raimundo Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Donostia made a great header on Fervent Stalkers's corner, it was just that Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro managed to reach the ball for a save. Elpidio Demesio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Eleuterio Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Navarro in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Aznaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Suárez might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Gaskon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Suárez ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Suárez got free with Augusto Gaskon in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the game, Fervent Stalkers's Franco Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Aznaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Raimundo Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Franco Navarro made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eleuterio Donostia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Raimundo Aznaro made a huge save. Kalessin's Raimundo Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Donostia in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Franco Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fervent Stalkers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Raimundo Aznaro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Franco Navarro in the 90thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Fervent Stalkers getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Stratos Michopoulos hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Gonzalo Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fervent Stalkers were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kalessin to leave the ground with a draw.
