Thanks to some nice moves Kimi Räikkönen could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Boran Benlioğlu however easily saved by the left post. In the last second Boran Benlioğlu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Kimi Räikkönen in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 23rd minute of the match CABJ got a corner. Deportivo Merlo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cecilio Cebo ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Samuel Bento managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Celedonio Lucado hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Báez during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
