James Barnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Libertad in the 16th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Ferrer made a kick off. The supporters of Los Guacho Pistola booed when Tacuari city bell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Serafo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Los Guacho Pistola defense, Hector Paio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Toribio. The Los Guacho Pistola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Toribio should have stopped the shot. James Barnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Evis in the 94th minute of play. Los Guacho Pistola's Rodrigo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Ferrer in the 95th minute of play. Tacuari city bell succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Los Guacho Pistola had controlled the match.
