Leonides Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastián Verón went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute, Isaac Sabino made a precise shot to the right of Victorino Quintin. Pittsburgh FLOYD Football's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Edgardo Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Sebastián Verón scored 2-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Beliran. The crowd rose to their feet as Nemesio Cesario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Velasco. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. Nicanor Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Leonides Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Chorache in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Pittsburgh FLOYD Football made a substitution. Modesto Aimar replaced Sebastián Verón. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modesto Aimar made a kick off. Leonides Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Hipolito Beliran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Beliran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Quintin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the game, Isaac Sabino lined in a short shot 3-3 behind a frustrated Victorino Quintin. Pittsburgh FLOYD Football's Victorino Quintin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Beliran in the 69th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pittsburgh FLOYD Football fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute, Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a penalty, and Olari Mõniste placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Victorino Quintin made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Isaac Sabino sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Modesto Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Rios. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Andrus Heiberg put in a rough tackle. In the 91st minute, one of Pittsburgh FLOYD Football:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pittsburgh FLOYD Football. 99 minutes into the match, Pittsburgh FLOYD Football's goalkeeper Victorino Quintin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Sabino. In the 101st minute, Nemesio Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of Club A. Chipa y Tereré echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pittsburgh FLOYD Football had held the ball for most of the match.
